This time we didn’t and none of our suppliers had it in the size we needed. Time to improvise. We were able to match the color in CMYK and pasted it as a decal under clear gloss acrylic. Contrast affects with how easy it is to read your design and the overall tone of your image. *Legibility Start by choosing your main color. Ever wonder why half your face is cut off on your business card? 🥴 Well, here is your complete guide to “bleed”! This should tell you everything you need to know, as well as why you should implement it in your design process: 💬 Bleed is essentially the extra image that extends beyond the trim line of a document intended for print. 💬 When printing flat documents like business cards or postcards, the artwork is printed on larger sheets and then it’s cut down to your intended size. 💬 Since the trim line is INSIDE the bleed, this ensures your final print has artwork from edge to edge. 💡To ensure import images, like logos or photos, or important text isn’t cut off, its best to start your design process by adding an extra 1/4 in all around to your dimensions. 💡Use guides to map out your edges and place all text and images inside the guides. 💡Hands down, bleed helped me and many of my clients from sliced images and sentences 😞🤦🏾‍♂️ It really works 👏 **More tips about picture placement to come** Has this been helpful for you?
